Kevin McShea is the President and CEO of McShea Insurance Agency, a family-run business he founded in 1986. With decades of industry experience, Kevin has built the agency into a trusted provider of personal and commercial insurance solutions across multiple states. His career began in financial advising, where he quickly excelled as a top producer before transitioning into property and casualty insurance. Under his leadership, McShea Insurance has grown from a one-man operation into a well-respected agency, known for its client-focused approach and expertise in industries such as construction, hospitality, retail, and coastal homeowners insurance. Kevin’s deep-rooted commitment to relationship building and personalized service has been the driving force behind the agency’s success. Today, he continues to lead with integrity, ensuring that McShea Insurance remains a steadfast partner for individuals and businesses seeking tailored protection and peace of mind.

Office Manager

Before joining McShea Insurance, Michele McShea had an accomplished career as a registered nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she dedicated years to providing exceptional patient care. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to helping others made her an invaluable asset in the medical field. However, as McShea Insurance continued to grow, Michele made the decision to leave nursing and devote herself to the family business. She has since earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations, further strengthening her expertise in the industry. As the agency’s Office Manager, she plays a pivotal role in ensuring daily operations run seamlessly, overseeing administrative functions, client relations, and team coordination. Her dedication, organization, and ability to keep everything running smoothly have been instrumental in the agency’s success. Simply put, McShea Insurance wouldn’t be the same without her.

Commercial Insurance Specialist & Digital Marketing Director

Megan McShea-Ferry has been a part of McShea Insurance Agency since she was 16, starting in the summers during high school by assisting with marketing mailers, answering phones, greeting clients, and handling administrative tasks. After college, she joined full-time as the agency’s receptionist, quickly working her way up to Personal Lines Account Executive and later Personal Lines Account Manager. Earning her Property & Casualty license, Megan became a producer and transitioned into a Commercial Lines insurance expert, specializing in coverage solutions for industries such as restaurants, spas, fitness centers, hotels, and condominium complexes. In addition to her expertise in insurance, she has played a key role in modernizing the agency, implementing new technologies to enhance efficiency and client experience. Megan also oversees all aspects of digital marketing, including managing McShea Insurance’s social media, email campaigns, paid digital advertising, and more. Her deep industry knowledge, commitment to innovation, continuous learning and passion for client service make her an invaluable leader in the agency’s continued success.
